Our FiveM script introduces a realistic gun jamming mechanic for FiveM servers. It creates a random chance for weapons to jam during use, adding unpredictability and immersion to combat scenarios. The jams are temporary, and the weapon becomes functional again after a short delay, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience.
Features
Random Gun Jamming:
- Each time a player fires a weapon, there's a configurable chance (e.g., 10%) for the weapon to jam.
Temporary Weapon Disabling:
- When a weapon jams, it becomes unusable for a configurable duration (e.g., 5 seconds).
- Shooting is completely disabled during this period.
Automatic Recovery:
- The weapon "un-jams" automatically after the specified time, allowing the player to continue firing without requiring manual repairs.
Standalone Compatibility:
- Works without relying on ESX, QBCore, or other frameworks.
- Fully functional in any FiveM environment.
Optimized Performance:
- Lightweight script designed for high performance and minimal server/client resource usage.
- Adds realism to combat-heavy RP servers.
- Creates challenging gameplay dynamics for PvE or PvP scenarios.
- Suitable for standalone or framework-based servers.
